Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Friends,

The Cambodia’s Border Committee in France and Worldwide is pleased to announce the publication of a “Historical Documents on Cambodia between 1979 and 2006”. The topics covered in the book include:
  • The illegal and unequal treaties and agreements between the People’s Republic of Kampuchea and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam during the 80s,
  • The Supplement border treaty to the 1985 treaty which was concluded on October 10, 2005,
  • The blocked vote by the (CPP-Funcinpec) National Assembly and Senate, and
  • The October 30, 1985 ratification by the King under threat.
To “legalize” these treaties, a first border marker installation was inaugurated by both the Prime Ministers of Vietnam and Cambodia on September 27, 2006 at Bavet, Svay Rieng province – a date which our Committee calls the “day of shame”.

The CBC document is approximately 500-page and provides documents simultaneously in 3 languages: Khmer, French, and English. The cost of each document is €30 including the cost of shipping.
