Opposition activist assassinated in Kompong Cham province

OPPOSITION ACTIVIST ASSASSINATED IN KOMPONG CHAM PROVINCE

Thung Thea, a 27-year-old SRP activist was assassinated on October 16, 2006 in Kompong Cham province. SRP President Sam Rainsy went today to the victim's home to pay respects to his memory, to comfort his family and to gather information about the assassination.
