Prince's Ousting a 'Coup De Parti': Retired King

THE CAMBODIA DAILY

Prince Norodom Ranariddh's removal as Funcinpec president was a not a coup d'etat but "coup de parti," retired King Norodom Sihanouk announced Thursday, adding that the removal has generated a mountain of press articles and e-mail. "I find myself literally, physically submerged by countless (hundreds, if not thousands) of foreign and Khmer newspaper pages, e-mails, etc, devoted to the great, the 'historic' event that is the political elimination of Samdech Ranariddh," the former King wrote. Seizing control of the party, "the supposedly 'inalienable' property of Samdech Ranariddh, is a genuine 'coup d'etat,' which is more appropriately called a 'coup de parti,'" he wrote.

I am so sorry the great king. You shall stay out of the politic according to your will. It is hard isn't it when the situation hits the hart of your family.

Why did you write this article anyway?

Aren't you proud of him that he quit? Who need to be partner of an Assh..anyway?

You should admire him for his courage to just leave and let it goes to he..!!!!! I wouldn't give to a stupid man like Mr. Hung Zen. You are crazy man King father!

You do know, your son lost his job, because of something is more important to him...like his ....or his....I am assuming he is brilliant and an honorable man and don't care what anybody says!

Signed:

To be Princess Phalla Ranarith

One of best to describe the situation of Cambodian royal families now is " dogfighting ".
They are fighting each other for monies, for position to attract women and for privillege to control others. This dogfighting among this animal Princes and Princesses are very nasty. They bleed each other blood !!!!!!!!!!!!!
