While the party leader is losing his position because of internal dispute, a number of division managers nominated by the same party leader are also losing their current positions.
Nouv Sivutharo, Funcinpec spokesman, told RFA said that Noranarith Anandayat, the manager of the Ta Prohm radio station and Prince Ranariddh’s spokesman, will be replaced.
Nouv Sivutharo said: “His excellency the new president, Keo Puth Rasmey, decided to promote Touch Vannak as the manager [of Ta Prohm radio station]. Touch Vannak was the deputy-manager of Anandayat. From what I know, he (Anandayat) may return to work at the party office, but his (new) position is not known yet.”
