The International Confederation of Free Trade Unions has written to Prime Minister Hun Sen condemning the "excessive police violence" that occurred during a confrontation with workers at Bright Sky garment factory in Phnom Penh last week. In a Friday letter, the group also urged an investigation into the injuries sustained by Muth Savy, a worker who was shot during the Oct 17 incident. The ICFTU claims to represent 155 million workers around the world. Chea Mony, the president of the Free Trade Union, said he has heard that 12 factory workers may be arrested over the confrontation. Interior Ministry spokesman Khieu Sopheak said he did not know whether workers would be arrested.

It sounds great that the ICFTU has 155 million members. What does this mean to ICFTU in Cambodia.
Hope these members will help to stabalize the dictatorship.
