Cambodian PM leaves for Australia on 6-day official visit
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen left here on Sunday on a six-day official visit for Australia under the invitation of his Australian counterpart John Howard to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation in fields of trade and regional security.
He will visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Outback town of Wagga Wagga during his tour, according to a press release from Cambodian Council of Ministers.
Srey Thamarong, personal advisor to Hun Sen, told Xinhua by phone that there would be some agreements that needed to be signed by both sides on business, investment and exchange of inmates while Hun Sen stayed in Australia.
Hun Sen was also scheduled to deliver a speech with the Australian parliamentarians inside the assembly building, said Thamarong.
This is the first time that Hun Sen pays an official visit to Australia since he became Prime Minister in 1998.
During the visit, said the personal advisor, the Cambodian Government would sign an agreement with Australia's BHP Company, the Asia Link and the ANZ Royal Bank to develop the aluminum mines in Rattanakiri and Mondulkiri provinces.
Meanwhile, Kith Meng, tycoon and President of the Chamber of Commerce of Phnom Penh, will help the Cambodian government organize a business forum in Melbourne to attract business investors to Cambodia, he said.
In the past years, Australia has been helping Cambodia clean mines, fight terrorists as well as counter drug and human trafficking.

If anyone has brain must help to think how this animal Kith Meng can make US$800 millions in 10 years in Cambodia. What he done there to make $US 800 millions?
He got help from Hun San, asshole!
It's called "get from the poor, give to the rich and keep the left over." So, the $800 millions in 10 years are just the left over after what he's given to Hun San.
In Cambodia, anyone who is connected to the Hun San family
can make millions. It's not difficult to see at all.
How do you get the number 800 millions?
Hi 7:36
I got a secret report from his own friend having dinner together. Recently This Kith Meng has invited ANZ bank to work together in Cambodia, therefore they need to assess his personal assets in Cambodia. They have gone through a valuation through all his assets in Cambodia which worth US$ 800 millions
It's look like he is also packing a lot of cholesteral. in 10 year, he will look just like pig!
(7:57) So, it's a rumor you are spreading. Don't you think the country is benefiting from his businesses. Can you imagine Cambodia's economy minus his businesses?
To brother 8:32PM
Forget the minus! How about take 800 million by the whole Cambodian population of 14 million!
Now each Cambodian can get 57 million dollars! Hey you know what every Cambodian people can be a millionaire now!!!
I am happy and the world is happy except Kith Meng is not!

WE must respect people who has made monies legally regardless who and who. But if he made monies by stealing people land and be protected by Hun Neng ( his father in law), Neth Savoeurn ( his brother in law), Heng To ( his brother in law and Hun Sen ), and then have never pay taxes, What kind of good citizen he is? Cambodia should be opened economically to every body. Is this kind of environment exist in Cambodia?
It is how people do the business, seize the opportunity
