Among the many organizations which condemned the authorities’ action on workers during Tuesday night, Rong Chhun, President of the Cambodian Federation of Unions (CFU), declared that workers are just like any other Cambodian citizen and they have the right to demand from the factory owners to respect the law and to properly resolve their working disputes.
Furthermore, CFU is calling on the government to immediately put to an end to the violence used by the authorities on the Bright Sky factory workers, it is also asking for intervention from national and international human rights organizations to help stop the successive use of violence by the authorities on the workers.
Chea Mony, President of the Free Trade Union Workers of the Kingdom of Cambodia, also condemned the violence by the police force which shot on workers and caused a serious injury to one woman worker.
Chea Mony told RFA: “I am asking the government to arrest the culprits who used their guns to shoot on the demonstrators. I am also asking that the government do whatever it can to bring forth to the negotiations, the respect of human rights, the return to democracy and to avoid the use on violence on workers who are mainly women.”

Now if the police fire on workers, shouldn't Hun Sen perform an inquiry as to why this happened?
At the same time the police who fired on the workers, have you forgetten that they are Khmer people who trying to make a living like you!
Unless that police is not Cambodia origin or are of Viet origin than i'm not suprise.
Again all this goes to show how INCOMPETENT Ah Hun Sen is as PM of Cambodia. He can't even fix small issue like this....
Imagine of the worker demonstrated the police would have shoot everyone down....the workers have everyrights to protects against unfair and abusive work environments
