Vietnamese national Lea Thi Loeung, 37, was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years in prison for attempting to sell her two teenage daughters for sex, Phnom Penh Municipal Court Judge Ke Sakhon said. In March, Lea Thi Loeung was arrested in Phnom Penh while attempting to sell the virginity of her 16-year-old twins, Ke Sakhon said. The judge said that it was believed that the woman had already sold the virginity of one of the girls to a Singaporean man for $1,000 during a previous trip to Cambodia. The two girls are currently in the care of a local NGO, which he declined to identify.
