Your guys are so lucky for doing this kind of stupid thing in Cambodia. If you are in western countries, your guys regardless King or Queen or anybody, you will be brought to the court by Animal welfare societies. THey will condemn you for buying all those pigeons which have impacted their welfare. You are the one who have attracted people to catch these pigeon for you. By the time, you have released these pigeons, these pigeons will loose their weight, their emotion and their trauma. The Western people will think differently from you. They think you are all sting and cruel.

Hello TT and 10:56AM, If you do not know how idiot you are, just keep your mouth shut. Without western countries, Cambodians are still killing each other as per your tradition already. Is it Khmer unique tradition to deplete all animals to extict from Cambodia? In Buddha teaching, the Buddha has prohibited people from catching all kind of animal and birds. we must led them to enjoy their lives with their families. I also Khmer, I have never seen such thing as a Cambodian tradition. If this government has a brain, they must set a good example to all citizen. Example, you can release some people who are just committed a small offence from jail rather odering people to catch some birds for you. You cannot escape from your sin for doing this. Please be a bit smarther and a bit cleaver. You are a long way to catch up good behavious.

Hello TT, I do not need to come to Cambodia and listen to ah kwak thread, I can already knew how bad is Cambodia right now. Haing seen all the poverty every day, you cannot distinguish where is the heaven and where is the hell on earth. Koh Santheapheap has deliver every day about people killings in every corners of he country that is the result of a country is being led by a blind.
Can you remember our proverb goes " If a country is being led by a blind man, that country will be in trouble, poverty, daytime robberies, kidnapping, flood and drought, people and animal are all hungry. The nation has lost her dignity and pride and the neighbours are stealing their lands and seas every day. These blind leaders are only care about thier own monies and girls for sexual needs. Can you see all of these crazy signs? If you are happy with your unique khmer traditions, please ask your king and your bloody leaders to travel in horse back and elephant back instead of Western invented car and airoplane. And also go to the temple ask all the old monks about the consequences of the country is being led by all the blinds!!!!!!
Well! you are completely sidetrack the topic-jump-to critising a capacity, capability and personality of individual.
Though, a few reactions below:
Such crime, corruption, sexual abuse, natural disasters is an unavoidable event for all countries and the rest of the world-just a matter of more or less-to the degree and proximity of such cases happening in Cambodia, the occurrence of this event even more greater in the US or Europ than Cambodia.
Perhaps, the west put you living in a small bolw of a small piece of land - you should try open your eyes and look around, see what is happenig in west- do not just view and try spoiling the small land of Cambodia-should help saving the small piece of land for your grave.
Lastly,civilization is multi choices-no question of invented materials by the west.
