(Kyodo) - King Norodom Sihamoni left Cambodia on Wednesday for a trip to China and France, palace officials said.
In China, the king will meet with his parents during a five-day stay. He will then pay an official visit to France on Nov. 20-22, the officials said.
In September, the 53-year-old king accompanied his parents, former King Norodom Sihanouk and Queen Monineath, to China for his father's medical checkups and stayed there for two weeks before going to France on a private visit.
Sihanouk, 84, suffers from a variety of age-related illnesses including diabetes, and has been advised by his Chinese doctors to have a checkup in Beijing every three to six months.

KI may believe its bias helps SRP, but it does not. It may make SRP supporters happy, but not necessarily the swinging voters whom SRP badly needs to have a decent show.

Sure KI, Reasmei Kampuchea, or Koh Sontepheap all are bias in their news reporting and we don't have any control over them. That left us with two options: Don't read them or try to sort out the truth.

Let me guess… you must consider yourself in the first group. This is one example of some Cambodians; spending too much time judging others without knowing his or own merit. Some of these people gave comments are Khmer Christian and Khmer Islam. You are implying that those non-Buddhist are low class and uneducated and they need to follow your believe, Buddhism preaching, to be good citizens. People with your kind of thinking had caused hatred in Cambodia. I hate to pop your bubble but you may need to go back and revaluate your survey. And don't the word "WE". Reader don't know what you are talking about.....

I believe that all opinions were have shared to each other will help each other understand more or less to the real issue facing Cambodia. Thanks for KI media for helping this bridge of knowledge. We are all living the free world, we have nothing to loose when we make our comment which came out from our heart to express our own opinion to others to know. We hate to see Cambodia is being stucted by the present leadership who have very limited quality but tried to destroy other people lives systematically through the teaching of their foreign advisers.
eg Why the king has suddendly travelled to China and France? Will he be the same like his half-brother carry cashes out to bank outside? Noone have every known this reality. In an accountable society, there must have a bank account with treasuries to control the monies and the king himself must have a salary set by a salary commission. If he save all his monies from his salary and the left over, that is his choice where to bank. But he used all monies without accoutability and took most part of the monies to bank ouside then that is not a good culture to practice.

Kings of other countries in the world spend most time helping their own people. King of our country spends time outside while his people are suferring.

When PM Hun Sen got mad with Thomico, he said that about $600,000.00 for every quarter for just the ex-king expenses?
When the king gave money or something to his subjects ,Cambodians appreciated him, but in fact the king took their money and gave them back.Nothing to thank him, he must pay back included the interest to Cambodians.
PM HUn Sen threated to abolish the Khmer kingdom if the king did not sign the Vietnam-Khmner frontier treaty.
PM Hun Sen, you knew well that the king is useless for Cambodia, if you love Cambodia more than your own interest ,it's time to get rid of the suckers.
