On Wednesday, top Phnom Penh court officials charged six men and their accomplices on suspected terrorism against Prime Minister Hun Sen's government.
The six suspects are: Saing Bunly, Saom Soth, Chan Rith, Luos Vanthan, Pov Sam An, and Neang Song.
The suspected terrorists “were charged with the intention to create public insecurity by using explosive devices during the water and moon festival”, police official said.
Sok Roeun, Phnom Penh Municipal Court deputy prosecutor told VOA that the perpetrators are detained in Prey Sor prison while awaiting investigation. He says that, “if found guilty, the men will face from 10 to 20 years in prison, [this] according to Article 2 of Cambodia's anti-terrorism law.”
Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General, Khieu Sopheak says that the ministry will continue to crack down on terrorist activities in Cambodia.
Opposition party legislator, Keo Remy welcomes the police’s efforts to stop the social unrest, but at the same time, urges the court to find the real reasons behind the arrest.
Kem Sokha, director of Cambodia Center for Human Rights (CCHR), appeals to the Cambodian government and the Phnom Penh court to conduct a full and transparent investigation.

I comments your efforts you are the new generation hero, when they the CPP & ah Hun Sen government kicked you out of your own house and land. Under Ah Hun Sen control you can't fight them in court because it corrupted, the police and military instead of protecting you they beat you up.
I suggest every evicted Cambodian do the same blow Ah Hun Sen up. At least that is a roof, wall over your head and food to eat when you are in prison. They can't imprison the whole 1-12 millions of you. Ah Hun Sen killed many Khmers during the Viet's invasion and he is continuing with this work of Killing more innocent khmer in time of peace.
If ah Hun Sen and the CPP government want to make your life difficult why not do the same and give them a hard time.
Ah Hun Sen regime is about protecting the rich and killing the poor.
We call this regime "Khmer Yellow" Yellow=Yellow star of the viet flag where Ah Hun Sen started.
This is only the begining and more to come! AH HUN SEN can no longer ignore the need of Cambodian people while he himself live like royalty!

Where is Heng Pov has he chicken out? just look at the suffering face by Khmers Under CPP and AH Hun Sen, The CPP and Ah Hun Sen is the real terrorist here. They are the caused of all problems facing the Cambodian society today.
Please make them pay and hope so soon...
