Retired King Norodom Sihanouk has rejected a request by his son Prince Norodom Ranariddh to force Funcinpec to use a different name. Prince Ranariddh said in a statement last week that he would like to return Funcinpec's name to Norodom Sihanouk, who founded the party. Prince Ranariddh also asked Norodom Sihanouk to prevent Fundnpec's new president Keo Puth Rasmey, the party's first deputy president Lu Laysreng, and secretary-general Nhiek Bun Chhay, from using Funcinpec's name. But in a statement posted on his Web site Monday, Norodom Sihanouk said he is in no position to take such action. "FUNCINPEC belongs to You and You will do with it what You wish," the retired King wrote. "If therefore anyone has the right to "dissolve" FUNCINPEC it is You, SKP N Ranariddh, not I (N Sihanouk),'' he continued.

Rannarith can teach all french sudents his law lessons. For me I doubt that he can qualify to teach my children. I agreed he can teach them how to corrupt but not the really knowledge of the laws. Why? He himself doesn't know much about what is a public property and what is a private property. He is still confusing about the ownership legality.
Eg
-Funcipec is a public one because funcipec has more than one owner!
-Ouk Phall is a private one because there is only one owner!!!
THe second lesson for him to learn is about;
-Private life and Public life !!!
I think he cannot learn that fast!!
Come on you fool (RANARITH)! How old are you , over 60? Leafe your father alone he is too old to pickup your ball for you again!
I know your father did not take care of you when you were young! but you are over 60, toat! do your own thing yourself!
You lost your child hood hey? suck to Phalla do not bring it to the whole country?
Stupid brat!
I think the SKP now knows how it feels like when his party is being stolen. I think he never expects this would come around, especially to him, when he jointly plotted with HUN SEN to have Son San and old SAM RAINSY's party (Khmer National Soul) stolen.
