On November 2, 2006, the Sam Rainsy Party organized a Kathen religious procession to bring help to the Prek Toch pagoda located in Prek Toch commune, Sa'ang district, Kandal province. Prek Toch is also the birthplace of Chea Vichea, the former (slain) union leader.
