Lilama 18, a subsidiary of the Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation (Lilama), and Seam Cement Co. Ltd. signed a contract to build a cement plant in Cambodia's Kampot province on October 30.
The plant will cost US $6 million and have a capacity of 1 million tonnes of clinker per year. Lilama 18 also continues to bid for other contracts for building cement and electric plants in Cambodia. (VNA)

I got my butt chewed for presumably being a fatalist when using a nick "AKnijaKhmer" to taunt (in French) the idea of Jacque Chirac of France consoling his little adopted Viet gal not to worry about Phnom Penh also known as Nam Yang/Vang in Viet for soon it will become hers and the Koah Trol fish sauce name brand (Nuoc Mam) will be more than ever famous and ah Viet Dog Hun Sen could use it as an incentive to lure people wrongly or rightly to vote for him during the 2008 election and beyond (for generations to come to be exact); Furthermore, Chirac of France has nothing to worry about the Francophonic future in Asia once his adopted little Viet is installed in Nam Yang/Vang (Phnom Penh) while French language seems to be already dead as compared to English.
Yes, I may be too pessimistic about the future of our homeland, but in plain and simple English, I personally don't see how we can get rid of Hanoi's colonialist yoke while ah Viet dog Hun Sen and his cronies regime has been deep rooted and Cambodia being so rapidly vietnamized from the bottom all the way up to the top....Case in point, everything is Viet-controlled in Cambodia....My poor khmer blood and race!!!
