EU offers 3 mln USD for Cambodia to reform public finance management
The European Union (EU) has donated three million U.S. dollars for Cambodia to reform its public finance management, a press release from the EU said on Friday.
"The finance will be used for strengthening the public institutions, public fund management and accountability and for reducing poverty effectively and developing with sustainability," it said.
The donation was made in accordance with the demand of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Cambodia in December 2004 to reform the kingdom's public finance management, it added.
