Cambodian Human Rights Action Committee, the coalition of 23 local and non-government organizations working in the fields of human rights and law, will organize celebration for the 58th Anniversary of the International Human Rights Day Saturday.
Some 600 representatives from embassies, EU, UNCOHCHR, local NGOs, international NGOs, Labor union federations, political parties, and other walks of life will attend the celebration under the topic of Human Rights and Poverty, said a press release issued by the organizing committee on Friday.
Presently, the poverty is the consequence resulted from the violation of human rights especially in relation to the violation of economic rights, it said.
The celebration will feature speeches and rallies.
Sunday is the International Human Rights Day, which is set to commemorate the 58th anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights passed on Dec. 10th, 1948.

I hope that A hun sen will not allow them to hold the human right celebration. The case he allows is to make the flowers blooming in the thorny garden only.
