In the park across from the National Assembly, MP Sam Rainsy distributes food to some fifty hungry and exhausted farmers who have just arrived in Phnom Penh to protest against the confiscation of their lands by powerful government officials in Thmey village, Kantuot commune, Choam Ksan district, Preah Vihear province (near the famous Preah Vihear temple on the border with Thailand). These farmers have traveled for two days across the forest to escape from the police who tried to prevent them from coming to protest in Phnom Penh.
