The Malaysian court which originally planned on holding Heng Pov’s hearing on 13 Dec, had decided to delay the hearing one more time to today, 14 Dec. The delay was caused by the argument made by Heng Pov’s lawyer regarding the visa Heng Pov received from Finland. Heng Pov’s lawyer asked the court not to release him, but instead to send him back to Singapore so he can prepare to depart to Finland. Khieu Sopheak, Ministry of Interior spokesman, said that Heng Pov’s case will be clearly known on 14 Dec when the Malaysian court will make a decision. Nevertheless, Khieu Sopheak believes that the Malaysian government will cooperate with the Cambodian government.

DO NOT BET ON MALAYSIAN COURT SYSTEM. THE BEST ONE IN SOUTHEAST ASIA IS GIVEN TO SINGAPORE COURT.
