The praiseworthy CPP trinity ... and their fight against poverty

Translated from Khmer by Luc Sâr

The fight against Poverty …
By N. Sihanouk

Beijing, December 7, 2006

1- We must very warmly congratulate Samdech Hun Sen and Lok Chumtiev, Samdech Chea Sim and Lok Chumtiev, Samdech Heng Samrin and Lok Chumtiev, and the CPP for the continued and impressive success of their pro-Small-Khmer-People Policy under the framework of the Fight against Poverty.

2- I wish, again in the framework of this Fight against Poverty, that the prestigious CPP and its illustrious Leaders can resolve little by little the vital problems of the Poor:

a- To give and give back cultivable lands to “those who have no land.”
b- To reforest deforested areas because a serious reforestation will, on one hand, bring rain to fields and rice fields, and on the other hand, will pvesent the silting up, or the covering up with sand of ponds, lakes, water streams, and consequently, will give more drinking water to the Small People, and more fish, shellfish, etc… for feeding the latter.

3- During the S.R.N. era, the area of our national soil was covered by more than 73% of forest. The Khmer Loeu and other ethnics were the sole Masters of their lands, forests and waters. The “unemployed” (former students, in particular) were invited to become farmers with the help of OROC (Office Royal de Coopératives – Royal Co-op Office) or of myself and the RGC who offered them lands, houses, cattle, fowls, and working instruments for rice plantation in particular.

Industrialization is a very important factor for success in the fight favoring Compatriots looking for work. But, I am not talking long about it, because whether it was under the SRN or under the CPP, the country’s industrialization efforts are worthy of praises.

H.M. King N. Sihamoni let me know that the illustrious Leaders of the French Republic highly praise the current Khmer regime (CPP and Samdech Hun Sen) [which is] a great craftsman of the continued terrific Progress in all fields of our national edification and general development of Cambodia which is continually moving towards Prosperity.

We will hear the truth and a better explanation of his writing if he eliminates a bunch of kiss as words to the CPP.

Just more ambient noise pollution with a distinctive north korean litterary style.

Shithanouk = Communist always padded each other on the back. What does the people of Cambodia? Why are children still eating from the trash infront of ah Hun Sen's home?

Shithanouk, bad old fart like you should never live so long!

All those flowery words with no actions. They say actions speak louder than words, but the former King prefers to use such sophisticated words to flatter and appease the powerful elite in Cambodia. The fact remains that the poverty alleviation strategy implemented by the CPP government is getting nowhere, if not worse.

Let the endless self-congratulatory and praises marathon begin.....

Wasn't the singing for Hun Sen on national TV enough already?

Just make the PM "King Hun Sen" and spare us the embarassement.

I have a dream SIHANOUK, a dream that you will denounce the khmer people's killer like HUN SEN, his cronies and the Viets. A dream that will undo everything that ah Viet-dog HUN SEN has committed to HANOI. Come on SIHANOUK, even if it means that ah HUN SEN will abolish the monarchy, so what?? Let's do it and help khmer people fight for the new life and help the country regain it sovereignty. Show us you courage, show us who you really are SIHANOUK, a MAN!

As Sihanouk gets older he is getting crazier. I wonder what kind of information he gets from Cambodia. His claim that the poverty level has been improved is a joke, but Sihanouk would say anything to please Ah Hun Sen since he wants he wants CPP to continue supporting the throne.
