Prince Norodom Ranariddh's advisor Serey Kosal will be summoned by Phnom Penh Municipal court tomorrow (Thursday) to testify on his defamation lawsuit against "Moneaksekar Khmer" newspaper.
"Moneaksekar Khmer published an article about Serey Kosal claiming his involvement in a penal code case", said Phnom Penh court deputy prosecutor Ngeth Sarath. But, Ngeth Sarath declined to elaborate on the details around the case.
Currently, the Phnom Penh court has 5 cases pending against Serey Kosal, including cases involving him in sales transactions of national estates and unpaid construction bills.
Serey Kosal tells VOA Khmer that he will appear at the Phnom Penh court tomorrow.
