Thanks to H.R.H. Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh, everybody in Cambodia knows that I had 6 (six) or 7 or 8, according to “The Cambodia Daily”, wives and “innumerable” mistresses.
In 1941-1943, I had one “Neak Moneang” Kanhol, 2-year relationship, “just long enough” to produce a “daughter” (Buppha Devi) and a “son.” Following the birth of Ranariddh, I (King N. Sihanouk of Cambodia) gave Kanhol “the authorization” to get married with the fellow who became, one year after this “marriage,” the Father of Chap Nhalyvuddh.
Between 1941 and … (I do not recall the year), my other “wife,” H.R.H. Princess Sisowath Pongsanmoni gave me 4 “sons” (N. Yuvaneath; N. Racvivong, died in the anti-Lon Nol and pro-Sihanouk resistance; N. Chakrapong; N. Khemanourak, pro-Sihanouk freedom fighter, killed by the Pol Pot government) and 3 “daughters” (N. Sorya Roeungsy, killed by the Pol Pot government; N. Kantha Bopha, died of leukemia at the age of 4-year-old in 1952; N. Botum Bopha, killed by the Pol Pot government).
Between … (I do not recall the year) and 1945, H.R.H. Princess Monikessan, died after giving birth to N. Naradipo (later killed by the Pol Pot government).
In … (I do not recall the year): Neak Moneang Thach (one year after our liaison, I “freed” her since she was marrying with Mr. K-E...).
Between 1949 and … (I do not recall the year): Neak Moneang Manivan - 2 daughters (N. Sujata, killed by the Pol Pot government, and N. Arun Rasmi).
Only 2 wives were registered in the Phnom Penh Royal Palace marriage registers – registers which disappeared under Lon Nol’s rule: Samdech Norodom Norleak and Samdech N. Monineath.
Regarding my mistresses, I recall their respective names and their exact (total) number.
Their names: allow me to pay respect to them by not revealing their names, (and) their respective citizenships!
Their (total) number: the number is modest compared to the success achieved by my august Father: close to 200 (total number of N. Suramarit, [when he was] student, at the death [??] of H.M. Monivong, then Minister, then Father of the King, and finally King).

After all may be it is good if Cambodia decide not eliminate monarchy of Sihanoukism to have its king who prefer male over male.
