PHNOM PENH, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian King Norodom Sihamonion Saturday said that the long-rooted Cambodian-Chinese friendship has become ever splendid, thanks to the inauguration and cultivation by former king Norodom Sihanouk and generations of Chinese leaders.
The king made the remarks during his meeting with a delegation of the Chinese National People's Congress (NPC) led by Li Tieying, vice chairman of the NPC's Standing Committee.
Cambodia views China as its greatest friend and will make consistent efforts to promote the overall and deep development of the bilateral ties, Sihamoni said.
The Cambodian Royal Family, the government and the people thanked the Chinese people for their long-term support and help, he said.
Li Tieying highly valued the friendly Chinese-Cambodian ties, saying that China and Cambodia have been brothers since the establishment of friendship between the two countries.
The Chinese-Cambodian ties have enjoyed overall and deep development in recent years and the cooperation in various fields have born fruits, he said.
He expressed appreciation for the king's contribution to the bilateral ties and expected the friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides to reach a new level.
Earlier on Thursday, the delegation respectively held talks with Prime Minister Hun Sen, Senate President Chea Sim and National Assembly President Heng Samrin.
The Chinese delegation arrived here on Wednesday on a five-day official goodwill visit.
Cambodia is the second leg of the delegation's regional tour which also includes Nepal and Myanmar.

for centuries. While their land
is not connected to our by border,
nonetheless it is connected by
the Mekong river. I hope people

our blood neighbor is fear off,
then you will immediatetly created
a tension in the region. This is
like you bring someone into your
house that your sister is frighten
off... and I think you got the

So you said those nearly 100 million Yuan half blood are Khmers?
