Outgoing Cambodian Ambassador Honoured with Insignia
VietNamNet Bridge – The outgoing Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam, Long Kem, has been honoured with an insignia in recognition of his contributions to promoting relations between the two nations, as the diplomat ended his working term.
President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) Vu Xuan Hong bestowed the "For peace and friendship among nations" insignia on the ambassador at a ceremony held in Hanoi on Jan 15.
Addressing the presentation ceremony, Hong affirmed that relations between Vietnam and Cambodia have been further consolidated and developed thanks to direct contributions made by Ambassador Long Kem.
The ambassador said he was honoured to receive the insignia and pledged to do his best to reinforce the friendly cooperation between the two countries through whichever post he may hold in the future.
