The Phnom Penh Municipal court will decide the fates of three Khmer language- newspaper editors Tuesday, charged of allegedly attempting to extort money from Va Srey No, a karaoke actress, by claiming they had a video of her having sex.
The three men were arrested Saturday after the actress notified the Cambodian police. Kong Seth, investigating judge says the men are being detained temporarily, while awaiting the verdict.
Opposition party legislator, Keo Remy appeals to the court to gather sufficient evidences and eyewitnesses before making its decision.
