Feb 02, 2007 - For some families the idea of owning their own home is only a dream, but thanks to Habitat for Humanity and it’s partners, that dream became a reality Friday, as the Say family received the keys to their new home.

Construction on the 4 bedroom Southwest Fresno home began last May and was officially completed in January. Habitat for Humanity, KSEE 24 News and the companies you count on donated time and resources to make the Say’s dream a reality.

Nath Say said her family who escaped from Cambodia to the U.S. during the Khmer Rouge Rein, have been waiting to realize the American dream for the past 20 years.

"Habitat has made their dreams come true. My dad can have his own garden and have his own plants."

KSEE 24 News reporter Catherine Mylinh was there as the keys were handed over to the Say family and reports on their emotional and life changing day. To watch just click on the Video link above.
