Obituary for the author of "Angkar Chea Nonar?" (Who is Angkar?)

It is with deep regret that KI-Media had recently learnt that Mrs. Kim Thy Uy, also known as “Yeay Tieng” (Grandma Tieng), the author of the book “Angkar Char Nona?” (Who is Angkar?”), passed away at 3:00 PM on 07 February 2007, at the Beaujon Hospital, Clichy-sur-Seine, France. She was 81 years old. Her funeral will be held on 12 February 2007 at 2:00 PM, at the following address:

Mrs. Kim Thy Uy was a native of Kampuchea Krom (South Vietnam). Her books provide ample information on the inner working of the communist activities in Cambodia, and the territorial aims of communist Vietnam towards Cambodia. Her books are currently banned by the Phnom Penh regime whose leaders have been installed by the invading Vietnamese army in the early 80s. Her book in Khmer is available online at:
