Mr Prof Dr KENG VAN SAK is really intellectual. He analyzes, he researchs the evolution of Cambodia and he concludes it well, logically. What a Cambodia great intellectual!!!

Dear Lok Sacrava I like your painting; however, before you made any comment, could you please look at every angles around you first. I think neither King Sihanouk, nor Prabath Jayavarman VII doesn’t have any intentional to destroy their country. They have the same idea of helping and saving Cambodia. They are superb. So please stop using their pictures to involve with bad political era. Please use your creative and intelligent idea to help Cambodia history so that the young generation will understand more about our history.

PLEASE my Khmer fellows, stop fighting with each other. There have been so much false informations that you're all drowning in your own propandas on top of deceits. Or to misrepresent your own history for whatever political gain. Everything does have to be about politic. You're gaining with anything by insulting and degrading the Khmers monarchy? It is such an intregal part of our culture and history, and we should respect the institution that is a unifying force in our current fragmented society. There is just so much paranoia and mistrust in Khmer society that you all will continue to loose.
Loving your country does not mean you have to cut anyone that doesn't agree with your opinion. Just treat other as you want to be treated. There are always blames throwing at other people but each of us is responsible for the development of Cambodia. Look at our(or rather your)more successful neighbor, Thailand and elsewher in the world, they have much more unity so they could develope and achieve great things in their country.
If you really want to know Khmer history you should learn it yourself. For those of you that think of Prof. Van Sak as a historian, you should try to know the different between myth and legend from history. He said so and so...was turned into stone by Preah Pearom in the then Khmer town of Sukhothai, and Thai monarchs would step on a stone as symbol of defeating the Khmer. In another case a Khmer king was hatch out off an egg. THIS IS ALL LEGEND. Unfortunately, since most Khmer are uneducated, and don't have access to proper books and documents you tend to accept myth as fact or historical. Don't blame others for your own ignorant. This is not about the Viet or the Chinese or the Thai, it's about Khmer uniting with each other.
And by the way, The Queen Mother is not Vietmanese, as some had been misbelieved, her mother was Khmer and her father was a French of Italian background.
