Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey wound up a hectic first full day of her official visit Tuesday at dinner with King Norodom Sihamoni in his royal palace after talks with Prime Minister Hun Sen.
Diplomatic sources close to Calmy-Rey said her meeting with Hun Sen included the signing of an airline agreement between the two nations, the details of which were not immediately available, as well as discussions on human rights and governance.
Calmy-Rey, who is also Swiss Foreign Minister, arrived Monday evening in heavily aid-dependent Cambodia and is scheduled to fly out to Indonesia on Wednesday, according to the Cambodian Foreign Ministry.
She plans to visit Swiss-funded restoration works at the Bantei Srey temple of the Angkor Wat complex in the north of the country, and see children's hospitals set up by Swiss doctor Beat Richner during her visit.
Calmy-Rey is visiting at the invitation of King Sihamoni. Her visit coincides with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations first being established between the two nations.
She is also scheduled to meet Foreign Minister Hor Namhong.

Cambodia welcomes Micheline Calmy-
Rey(President of switzerland).
Hope you will stay for a while to
visit some of our ancient
historical sites... .
And thank you in advance for
signing the "airline agreement,"
for which it will provided us with
hundreds of jobs for our people.
Long live Cambo-Swiss friendship.
Does Cambodia have Boeing 747 or 777 to fly to European countris like Swiss.
No, not yet, That is a huge plane,
probably cost 25 millions USD+.
Right now we just got a crapy old
727 or 737 for local flight to
south China, not even North China,
LOL, but we certainly will have the
747, 777, ... . Bussinesses are
Picking up slowly here.
I can't wait to see our PM have a
747 just like the one for GW Bush.
It is very embarassing for all
Khmer people not to have one for
our leader.
4:39 AM. You can invent the highest one 999 for Hun Sen. Send your application of your invention to be prosecuted at Singapore Law Firm. I just happened to read one anon.. claimed to win the award as a scientist. It is a good new for Hun Sen to get the best 999.
I can feel your pain for not having one for Hun Sen.
This thug is a thief and a killer he has too much money, I'm sure he will get one when he be shot by a robot, and that robot will look exatly like Pham Van Dung, the Yuan who invased Cambodia.
I would love to do the 999, Fluke's
Boy, but we can't hack its prices.
Lawyer fee is not a problem, but
the design, testing, prototype,
manufacturing facility, tooling,...
are beyond our means. You got
any idea of the cost to get the
first plane out the door?
My friend 4:53 PM,
I knew mostly about it. I bragged it again but it's all true. For just a smart bomb cost ~ 2 billion USD.
There're multiple excited components and the most powerful componnets are semiconductor chips. These multiple chips have multiple tasks, its own functions, eg., DRAM, RAM,..etc..and you don't need to wonder why jobs are available to those Engineers and scientists such physicists etc..
If you can invent something that'd be usefull, you should do it instead of making Hun Thug look more idiot with his fake Phd.
This guys Hun Sen is a lunatic, Khmers' killer, no education/most brutal, and he is a greatest obstacle for Cambodia to grow. Cambodia and her people deserve much and much better.
Now you see why JOBS went away to Yuan and China?
ONE SMART BOMBS can hire thousand of Engrs/phsicists. You have the products we want, then we wil buy, otherwise NO. With the thugs' PHD, I say forget it. If I help to design, Hun thugs will die by a natural cause, no way to trace.
Whatever you want to call me or want to belittle me to make you feel better does not change the facts that I am a young millionnaire, good looking and brilliant. Yep I bragged but they're all true. No kiddin' my friend. hahaha...
Again you avoided my direct
question, Fluke's Boy. Don't you
know how to discuss intelligently?
I don't need your craps. I simply
asked if you know how much it cost
to get a new plane (999) out the
door? just give me a rough idea,
comprendre?
How does the uncivilized person like you know how to carry the intelligent debate? Don't endow yourself with malice, you only hurt yourself not me, my friend ;-). Your mockery and violent behavior like a ganster, you don't deserve anything besides the switch flips to 666.
