Vietnam and Cambodia's provinces tighten border security
VNA
Border police forces of Vietnam's southern Binh Phuoc province and Cambodia's Kratie province have signed a cooperation programme to strengthen border security in 2007.
Under the programme, the two forces will regularly exchange information relating to border security protection including transfrontier crimes, in addition to boosting border inspection in order to control illegal smuggling.
The two provinces' border police forces will be in charge of the security of Vietnam and Cambodia's officials implementing border demarcation and marker planting.
Information will also be further exchanged between Vietnam's Bonue and Cambodia's Tapengse international border gates.
