A Cambodian political analyst considers that the political dispute situation in Cambodia currently, is good and has matured in terms of tolerance as compared to 10 years ago.
Dr. Lao Mong Hay, a Cambodian political analyst who always openly criticize the political evolution in Cambodia, told RFA that he sees that the political dispute situation in Cambodia right now is good because Cambodian politicians are mature and are using their words instead of weapons [to fight each other], and rather than using foreigners as their backup in their fights, they are turning to the citizens who are the owners of the land instead.
Dr. Lao Mong Hay said: “This is the first time that we are turning to citizens to look for power. In the past, we tend to seek neighboring countries [as backup] up until 1993 … from Thailand, from Vietnam, from China, from the USA, etc… This is the first time that we are … turning to the citizens, the power within the Cambodian borders.”

Dr Lao,a Khmer Political analyst, exchanges his words in a very nice tone to get a rooten carrot from Hun Sen (????)...if I'm wrong.

- THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT IS IN VERY STRONG POSITION TO OVERSMART THE OPPONENT OF EVERY CASE AND ISSUES SINCE THE OPPOSITIONS THEMSELVES ARE WEAKER.
HUN SEN AND OTHERS CAMBODIAN POLITICS PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIORS AND ATTITUDES EXCEPT A FEW ARE NOT YET EVEN HALF CUP OF MATURE IN NON VIOLENT THROUGH TALK. A VIOLENT COUP IN 07/1997 WAS ONLY THE TIP OF ICEBURG OF HUN SEN'S MOOD SWING OF PERSONAL AND BEHAVIORAL PATTERN.
I WAS SO GLAD THAT ONE SIDE WAS DEFEATED SO SOON OTHERWISE THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO PHNOM PENH CITY TO SEE AS OF TODAY.
THE VIOLENT AND FIERCE MOOD OF HUN SEN STILL REMAINS THE SAME BUT THE SITUATION WHICH HE HAS BEEN DEALING HAS BEEN CHANGED. THE CHANGES FOR THE BETTER FOR HIM. THE IS ONE OF OTHER REASONS THAT MAKING cAMBODIAL POLITAIL LANDSCAPES LOOKS BETTER FROM OUTSIDE SHELL.

What do you think about recent political assinations? Un monk from Kampuchea Krom, a leader union leader... Are they language of weapon or just silent deaths? How do you make of that?
I don't know or ever heard who is Dr. Lay Mong Hay, but Dr. Hay's comments are not in accordance with Hun Sen's criminal activities in Cambodia. Just because Dr. Hay earned his Phd and works as a Cambodian political analyst, still does not make him a Prodogy.
His anlysis on the current situation in Cambodia is deadly WRONG. I said it again "Dr. Lao Mong Hay is WRONG & WRONG".
Dr. Hay analysed in obscurity for no good to Cambodia while Hun Sen's criminal activities are the same. Just because Hun Sen does not order to shoot and he pretends to have his fake concerns toward the citizens over land grabbing before the election, then so what?
Just read Hun Sen's speech attacking others politicians while he himself is rotten.

The situation in Cambodia, as we all have immune to, has been fragile and notoriously violated of all human rights laws. We definitely need representative like Dr. Lao Mong Hay to deliver a fair and impartial, and as diplomatically as possible, like he has done here, so as not to disturb the 'WILD BEASTS'.
