The Koh Santepheap daily newspaper reported that the hearing for the sentence of Heng Pov, the former Phnom Penh police chief, in the case of the murder attempt on the director of the Chak Angre office of Electricite du Cambodge (EdC) has been delayed. No explanation was provided about this delay. However, it is believed that the date of the hearing coincides with the current campaign for the commune election, this maybe the reason of the delay. Kim Daravuth, the 44-year-old director of EdC’s Chak Angre office, was shot by an unknown assailant when he was waiting to pick up his child from school during noontime on 23 November 2005. After the shooting, Kim Daravuth told everybody that prior to his shooting, he had a verbal dispute with Heng Pov, and he sued and accused Heng Pov of hiring an assassin to shoot him. The original hearing is planned for today but it has been delayed.

It is because they have no proves.... It is Hun Sen and Hoc Lundi's game to do like that, so they can build false proves!!!!
