Human rights groups in Cambodia have reacted angrily to an appeal court's decision to uphold the prison terms of two men accused of killing prominent labour leader Chea Vichea.
A coalition of rights groups in Phnom Penh has issued a joint statement deploring the ruling as inadequate and "politically biased".
The pair had denied any involvement in the killing and have fought their convictions.
Human rights groups and others allege their arrests were a cover-up for a political assassination.
Chea Vichea was a vocal critic of Prime Minister Hun Sen's government.
He was gunned down in the capital three years ago.
