Khieu Kanharith: Seeking an alliance is like a money bill

Translated from Khmer by Socheata

Khieu Kanharith, CPP spokesman, has compared those who seek a political alliance to a 500 riels bill that must be divided among 10 people: each will receive 50 riels, but even after the division, the 500 riels bill still remains a 500 riels bill, and it will not be more than that because each of the partner will only receive 50 riels each from that same 500 riels bill. Khieu Kanharith told the Kampuchea Thmei newspaper that when it comes to political alliance, there is nothing new, and the CPP has nothing to be concerned about. He added that those people who start looking for political party alliance are still the same ones, and the alliance is not a new story. He said that the most important factor is not the alliance but the people who valued it. Furthermore, he said that the population knows who has accomplished something and who does not. Khieu Kanharith made all these metaphors to describe the potential alliance between the NRP and the Sangkum Jatiniyum Front Party (SJFP) of Prince Thomico. The alliance between the two parties will be rechristened as the Royalist Movement.

500 riels from one Funcipec party to be reunited again of Funcipec and NRP is right like Kanharith said. Also the same royalist party of NRP and SJFP is like in one bank not price.

However, if Kanharith is sure like that, why CPP has succeeded to split out Funcimpec? Alliance or unity is important and it is strong...

what accomplishment CPP has done is only about cheating and manipulating...Kanharith can earn 5000$ a day but pay back to the owners (Cambodian people) only 100$ means that it is the accomplishment of CPP.

More than this, the alliance or unity of all democractic parties will underscore the true compitition with CPP. This is the key and crucial...

Yeah I support you, Khmer Young. Kanharith comparison does not fit to the real situation at all. Hun Sen has known clearly about the strangeness of democrat alliances that's why he warned last time. CPP does not have enough capability to win the election 2008 in case that the election is performed in fair atmosphere. Every body knows that CPP is deceiving, buying and intimidating Cambodian people. If CPP dare enough, he should not act like this anymore.

Kanharith, you should not say that CPP is building Cambodia country. This is Cambodian governmental responsibility. However, the governmental speed is too slow that's why we wish to change a new leader, sir. Your government gives Cambodian people one and then he is taking from them a million. Do you think we are stupid and no nothing about your governmental activities?

What is a blind idiot? FYI, we're
one of the few fastest growing
countries in Asia if not the world,
you fool.

Anyway, Lok Khieu Kanharith, are
we related? I agreed with you 100%.

7:20 PM look moron you are the blind one here ok. Yes Cambodia is fastest at destroying it environment and a bunch of investing scam while you fat asses out there slaved the Cambodian people. Yuor vision is an illusion boy, let me know in 20 years if ever any leader would cut down poverty. Your vision is nothing but a follower no leadership or forward progressive toward humanity but self greeds. Fuck that bro and your fucking government.

Wrong, I don't think you find many
who preferred the Pol Pot's
leaders. Keep in mind, that we
rised from total distruction. I
know you guys think people should
have been better because of lot
of aids was given. If you did
the math, you will find that isn't
so. And if you can't do the math,
just look up the objective of the
aids on the Net. It is not to bail
us out of poverty, but to help us
fight poverty. Can you see the
difference from the definition?
And poverty had been slowly reduced
as verified by world bank and the
the donors. Thus, we clearly did
our job, and I don't care what
our oppositions said.

9:10pm your comparing Hun Sen Regime to Pol Pot? Anything is better than Pol Pot. Why Won`t you compare it to Sihanouk Time? When Sihanouk was in power everyone thrive. People got educated, and rock music was born. For Hun Sen in 30 years barely anything is accomplished. Only this last couple years you saw some vast improvement, only because the Donors are getting on their Donkey Asses. So don`t compare anything to Pol Pot because anything is better than that. Compare it to something better. Remember only these last few years the Country improved because the donors are getting on their asses.

But with this economic boom, its really nothing. The percentage you see is just hype numbers. Only a real small percentage is feeling the boom. Those are people that are in the Government, not the regular people. REMEMBER! And stop sucking so hard on Hun Sen D*CK.

True buddy (1:10), but you must
realized that when the French
transfering power to Sihanouk,
they left him something to work
with, not flat broke as Pol Pot
left Hun Sen. Do you see the
difference, now?

Also, I like to point out something
about the French to Khmer power
transfer. You see, from an alien's
from space perspective, they see
it as a total failure by the
khmer government, no matter who
at fault. It only lasted from
1954 to 1979 (25 years) before the
total destruction. Some of the
South Africa countries are like that
when the UK return power to them.
In Asia, Hong Kong still look like
it is in good shape, and Singapore
is knocking on wood since the 50's.
So what does that tell you? Think
about it for yourself. I aint
gonna brainwash anyone with what I
see,hehehe.

6:23 AM True! but Pol Pot was not Flat broke. There was a system in place, but it was what he did with it. You cannot compare a Killing period to a lesser killing periods and say it is better. Everyone compare to pol pot time. Why wont they compare to something that is better? Because they want to look good. And I know that the khmer government is all at fault. You see my point? And if you compare it to other countries then there is no point to have anyone keep the government in check becuase we`re just like other countries that just felt some kind of freedom. Useless.

Pol pot is not flat broke? Just
how much oil or wealth did you
think he left Hun Sen, huh? Let us
see some estimate, shall we?
