The Norodom Ranariddh Party and the Sangkum Jatiniyum Front Party (SJFP) of Prince Thomico had declared their merger on Tuesday. Prince Ranariddh, president of the NRP, told RFA from Malaysia that the merger of the two parties will provide more strength to the royalist party. The merger took place after the meeting between delegates of the two parties in Malaysia. The SJFP plans to announce its dissolution in a soon-to-be-announced congress. Prince Thomico, the delegate general of the SJFP, will become the vice-president of the NRP after the merger.

Personally, I hate immorale comment and critic. For me, this is a sign of solidarity. If everyone can work together even though they are fool or lorb or l`er, Cambodia will be better.
Some Khmer in France, not all, always say they are better educated but they never help build their homeland.
One thing they can do is being a slave of France or America...

However, I could not find any good sign from this emerging because two of these parties are weak hence their parties are unable to get any position in the government for next mandate at all for sure.
If Ranarith really love Cambodia territory as well as Cambodian, he should do some thing good for Cambodia within he was in power but instead he did a bench of corruptions and has destroyed royal reputation because of his mad behavior, addiction to young ladies.
By this time, every body does aware that CPP is strongest party in Cambodia so that the only way to win the CPP is emerging every party in Cambodia into SRS hence there are only two main parties CPP and SRS. I do know that there are difference directions from party to party but we are all whish to save our people from YOUN communist and meanwhile we do aware that CPP is serving YOUN communist government.

I agree with your comments that it is better if people work together. However, if they are bad, they will produce the worst thing for people and nation.
Though, i am also living in Cambodia, but i disagree on your critique to people living in France or US. U might not criticize to them, if u or your relative encourtered some unfair treatement here. Sometime the social security also the key reason for them to leave, though it has no bomb here, but robbery, violation, thief..etc.
Also they can not live and work here, because they have different concept at work (u might know the Kmere story called "Chauv La Gnung" or "stupid man"

As a Khmer, I am really sad to see such rude comments. Our country is in a very dangerous situation of losing everything. You all may know that yuon have done everything to destabilize Khmer politic so that they could one day take full control of Cambodia. They are laughing at us while reading these comments. You are giving them what they want...Internal conflict... We need to be united. It is a good sign that the two parties are merged tigether but I am not happy with Ranarith to be president again. He has betrayed Khmer people, his followers as well as his alliance for so many times. He is really not a good leader at all. He is the worth of all, even worth than Hun Sen.
After the communal election, I do believe that if all the pro-democratic unites together, we really have a chance to defeat CCP. Anyone could be president of the alliance but pls not Ranarith... Of course SAM Rainsy or Kem Sokha are preferable...

I respect your freedom to create any political party. But don't label your party "royalist party". Instead you must call your party "prince party". You are destroying the Monarchy by doing this big mistake.People who don't vote for your party are not republican. They are royalist but feel they just don'like you, Mr the Princes.
