The UN office of human rights in Phnom Penh said UN Envoy Yash Ghai, who always speaks without restraint, will arrive in Cambodia today for a three-day visit to gather information about human rights. He will report his findings to the UN human rights commission in Geneva on 12 June 2007. It is not yet known whether Prime Minister Hun Sen, who did not want to see the face of Mr. Yash Ghai in the past, will receive the Envoy in a meeting or not. Heng Samrin, National Assembly president, told The Cambodia Daily said that there is no benefit to government officials to meet with Mr. Yash Ghai, because the latter was making up distorting information in the past. Heng Samrin said that the Mr. Ghai’s report on human rights is exaggerated. CPP MP Chiem Yeap said that he wants to meet with Mr. Yash Ghai to correct the wrongful views of this Envoy about Cambodia. Chiem Yeap said that he wants to explain to Mr. Ghai about the actual situation in Cambodia, so that Yash Ghai no longer distorts his report about Cambodia.

Arrogant Communist leaders of Cambodia are really disgrateful to the aids provided by international community...
And more than that, they are really neglecting their treaty and signature with international community about the enhancing the standard of human rights respect and democracy....
The act of CPP government towards Yash Gai envoy of UN is really ignorant, stupid and arrogant...it is baseless of professional leadership....
Wrong, there are not too many
people complaining about rights
or democracy here. They are only
complaining about lack of jobs
that is caused by Ah Sam Nazi.
These big and arrogant CPP boys are human rights violators, pure and simple. These evil boys have never had their human rights violated, so they have no idea what it is like to be a victim of such a disgraceful act.
Fortunately, Yash Ghai is not an ordinary Cambodian, who would certainly incur the wrath of the CPP's killing machine if he/she made such a comment or report in Cambodia.
There is a Khmer saying: you cannot hide a dead elephant with a flat basket. Even the CPP newspapers report crimes committed by high ranking CPP officials. And, their classical response to the international criticism lacks intellectual thinking, logic and finesse, just like comment at 1:53PM.
Wishing Yash Ghai great success in his noble endeavour to relieve the misery of Cambodian victims of human rights violation.
So how many people suffering from
the CPP boys and what are they
suffering from?
I can easily 3-4 millions suffering
from lack of jobs for decades
because Ah corruped people like
Ah Ghai and Ah Sam Nazi causing
political instability in Cambodia.
Heng Samrin's words show that he is ignorant and uneducated, please let him alone, but pity on Khmer people whos leaders are like that.
Noope, it is uneducated if you
take anything seriously from
Ah corrupted Kenyan idiot (Ghai).
Hey, ah CPP just try your best to see Mr YASH Ghai. You have nothing to loose.Do you have something to hide?In order to be FAIR you have to allow positive and negative to speak out idiots.....
No problem, just let Ah corrupted
Kenyan (Ghai) waits in the
detention center, and the soon
the next reprensentative is
available, we'll send he/she over
to talk to him.
Heng Samrin talk like my 2 years old son, that don't know how to read and write yet..comment by Prohok Khmer lived in Mass Near Bank North Garden.
Yes, all genius seems to have some
flaw in them, but don't let that
deceived you.
Hey Folks, I have just done some
background check on Ah stupid
Kenyan (Ghai). He's such a losers.
He has no success story outside
the university and textbooks.
He was appointed a Chaiman of
the Kenyan's Constitution Commision
to draft and review the Kenyan's
new constitution and he failed
flat on this face. He spread bad
words about people who work with
him and they forced him to resign,
hahaha, LOL, hahaha. Here's a brief:
"Kenya: Minister intervenes in CKRC stalemate
Kenya's Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Kiraitu Murungi, has poured water on reports that there are problems within the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission (CKRC), saying the commission will neither be disbanded nor trimmed and that it will continue incurring expenditure. The East African Standard says he was speaking after a stormy meeting where 26 commissioners are reported to have reprimanded their chairman, Professor Yash Pal Ghai, for allegedly circulating malicious stories about them in the media. Some commissioners claimed they had won only part of the battle with Ghai and that they would strive to ensure that the commission completed its work with or without him. Major differences at the commission apparently emerged after it was reported that Ghai was working with a shadow commission, under the auspices of the Institute of Economic Affairs." - http://www.legalbrief.co.za/publication/archives.php?mode=archive&publication=Legalbrief_Africa&issueno=11&format=html
What is a fucken loud mouth
(Ghai)? Obviously, he has
psychological personality disorder.
Thus, I call on the UN to have him
undergoes a psychological test.
There is no way, that we should
work with a loser. Too much is at
risk here. He's also corrupted
for working under a shadow of
institute of the Economic affairs.
