The former King of Cambodia, King Norodom Sihanouk, issued a statement forbidding the projection of his films.
In a letter dated Thursday 10 May, King-Father indicated: “Recently, there are some people who projected films which are my achievements, with the aim of criticizing me.”
King-Father also added: “From today on, I am reserving the rights, and I am forbidding the projection of my films. I am not authorizing it.”
