The third Asean Rubber Conference (ARC2007), to be held in Phnom Penh from June 14-16, will be the premier rubber summit targeted for the global audience.
This year's theme is "Global Market Forces and Developments in the natural rubber and synthetic rubber industries: Present and future trends".
The conference will focus on the market forces and development of the industry throughout the region and world, according to the organiser, NextVIEW Group said on May 3.
The primary purpose of ARC2007 is to support the growth of the rubber industry by delivering objective and accurate information as well as to provide an opportunity for the rubber community to discuss commercial prospects.
NextVIEW said the conference is supported by Cambodia's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in collaboration with the Association for the Rubber Development of Cambodia (ARDC).
Cambodia's Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen will officiate at the conference, which is expected to complement his government’s efforts to formulate a viable foundation for long-term economic growth.
ARC2007 aims to promote networking and the exchange of ideas by bringing together both regulatory and commercial players from over 25 countries such as China, India, United States, European countries and ASEAN.
ARC2007 – jointly organized by the NextVIEW Group of Singapore and ARDC – will be segmented into five sessions comprising presentation by 15 speakers revolving around the theme.
