Pius Fischer, German Ambassador to Cambodia, criticized the action taken by the government in confiscating Global Witness reports discussing about illegal logging in Cambodia. Pius Fischer said that this action is unreasonable. In a roundtable talk held in Phnom Penh on Thursday, Pius Fischer said that the confiscation of the reports is unreasonable, and to the contrary, the government ought to study this report to find out about the truth. Pius Fischer said that the government strategy should consist of studying the issues raised by the Global Witness in order to find out about the perpetrators of the illegal logging. Pius Fischer added that the confiscation of the reports would have a negative impact on the Cambodian government image.

Ridiculously defensive and spat on democratic principles as usual by Hun Sen and cronies.
Cambodia forest belongs to the people of earth, and he /his clique are not irreplaceable.

This is lowly and shameful that Cambodia own government is incapable in putting order in own house. When friends criticized wrong doings,Hun Sen and his cronies went ballistic.Guilty guilty and shame on them...
