Prime Minister Hun Sen requested the Japanese government to speed up the opening of the construction of the Neak Leung bridge, and the review of Japan’s ability to help rebuild National Road No. 2 so that this road can be renamed the “Japan Road.” On Friday, Hun Sen told Takashi Kaneko, the vice-president of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in Takhmao city, that through JICA, he (Hun Sen) wants Japan to speed up the opening of the construction of the Neak Leung bridge, and he also requested for Japan to review Cambodia’s request for help in rebuilding the remaining 50 kilometers of National Road No. 2 between Phnom Penh city and Takeo city. Hun Sen added that he will rechristen the name of National Road No. 2 to “Japan Road,” therefore, he asks for the Japanese government to speed up its review for this aid.

nice blog
why Hun Sen needs to kneel down before Japanese government like that when those money are loaned, not free at all...
Now, Hun Sen might consider to change from his own name to put other names...so he can have more constructions...
The Neak Leung Bridge is very important for the development of the area. I wish it will be carried out as soon as possible
