Gen Wattanachai denies he linked Khmer Muslims to insurgency in the south

PM's security affairs advisor Gen Wattanachai Chaimuenwong denied saying that some Cambodian Muslims were involving in the insurgency in the deep south of Thailand.
He insisted that no foreign network or persons involved in the violence in the southern provinces of Thailand.
Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen on Monday issued an angry denial that Cambodian Muslims involved in the insurgency in the south.
"Because of their own weakness, they are now finding others to blame,'' he said at a groundbreaking ceremony for a bridge over the Tonle Sap river.
Some news reports said retired Gen Wattanachai said some Khmer Muslims were part of terror network that actively worked in the south.
Wattanachai on Tuesday said that he never said so.
"What I said is that there are a large number of Cambodian Muslims entering Thailand but they disappeared. We have to find out where they are," he said.
He said he issued a clarification on the matter and asked Thai Foreign Ministry to send it to the Cambodian side.
Shortly after Hun Sen's speech Monday, Foreign Minister Hor Namhong summoned Thai Ambassador to Cambodia Surasak Suparat, the Thai Embassy official, to formally convey the Cambodian government's reaction to the Thai government.

Hummm, the same old trick is used agian. First just accuse without any proof... then if there are reaction... Deny what have been said and there are no reactions... Then rice is cooked... Some one is already take the blame...
We should be aware and take full response to these thais tricks.
Let us not forget that according to Heng Peov, the daugther of Saddam Hussein visited Cambodia secretly just before the US declared war and overthrew her father, met with Hun Sen and other CPP luminaries and gave HS a substantial amount of money to be given to Muslims groups in Australia and Thailand. Why? May be Thai Intelligence is aware of this? In the "Land in Between" anything is possible.
What Mr. Hun Sen should have done, is reacting normally and finding out if there is any true to it. Insurgency in the deep South of Thailand may be not just be Thailand problem alone, but part of an international attention against Terrorist.
Our PM should know more about The September 11th and what it really really mean to the American. He should do a better job looking after our Muslim people by providing them education and deep understanding to this very sensitive issue for all. This is a safety and peaceful issue that belongs to all around the world and not just Cambodia and Thailand alone.
We need to be well awared of it and be very careful. Both sides are probably on Cambodia now.

In 1948, The Muslim unrest was just a plan old up set under bad treatment or discrimination from their big majority Thai fellows.
Today, that anger and bitterness plus the new Muslim Holly War which arrives from The Middle East equal a very nasty nasty confrontation.
That confrontation will not stop until it gets confronted head on and that is getting to the buttom of it. Makes sence?
See the connection of the New York twin Towers & The Pantagon building in DC went down to the ground? and The Thai closest relation with The United States? and The Malaysia closest realation with our own Cambodian Muslim? and what was that tiny Oil Rich country next to Malaysia? Wasn't it Brunei? and if Those 2 Malays.. & Brunei which are Muslim countries have sympathy for their Muslim brothers in The Middle East or fail to see what the real damage was done to the Washington and The World and provide helps thru Thai Muslims in deep South of Thailand? What would that tell us?
Shouldn't we be more careful? From Cambodia to The US is far far away and very very remote, but from The US to Cambodia that distance will be cut by 1000%. There is crystal clear that the danger could easily come up from our land and Thailand.

Our own Muslim men may be and innocently travel to Malaysia thru Thailand for better employment, but do they know that they could be ending up with the suiside bombers chain? Like our own poor ladies went side of the country to look for a better job, but ending up with the real nightmare of the prostitusion chain instead ?

You are connecting the wrong dots here! First of all Thailane is no stranger to arm conflict with Southern Thailand Muslim separatist insurgency since 1948 to late 1980! Thaicong illegally annexed these Muslim Malay land since 1902 according to Anglo-Siam treaty in 1904!
It is so wrong and so stupid for you to connect all Muslim around the world with the World Trade incident! You can't go around classify every Muslim on Earth as terrorist!
Why is it so wrong for Brunei and Malaysia to help Southern Thialane Muslim? The Muslim in Southern Thailane, in Malaysia, and in Brunie is Malay people! The Malay people have every right to help their Muslim brothers and sisters in Southern Thailane!!
What happens in Southern Thailane is a carbon copy of what is happening in Southern Vietname today! Our own KK is fighting for their independence from The Vietcong and they are fighting peacefully thru protesting and by bringing the matter to World's attention thru way of peaceful mean. Not thru arm conflict and confrontation or thru mutilation and violencely cut someone's neck.
