Heng Pov, the former Phnom Penh city police chief, revealed in the courtroom on Wednesday, during his sentence on the charge that he possessed fake money, that Mok Chito, Penal police chief of the Ministry of Interior and his former archenemy, of involvement in kidnapping for ransom money. Heng Pov accused Mok Chito in the courtroom that the latter secretly put the $30,000 fake money in Heng Pov’s house when the police raided Heng Pov’s house in July of last year. Heng Pov said that Mok Chito was jealous of him because he asked Sar Kheng, the minister of interior, to remove Mok Chito out of his position because Mok Chito was involved in kidnapping for ransom. The Cambodia Daily quoted Heng Pov who told the court that “I am the only person who demanded for the removal of Mok Chito because he kidnapped people for ransom money from rich businessmen.”

I would like to appeal to Opposition party to get involve with Heng Pov matter. This is about rule of laws. we must distinguish this rule of laws from Politic. Regardless Heng Pov was a former CPP or not was a matter. The matter is if Heng Pov was a good Public servant or not and if the court has used propre rule or not in putting him in Jail. I found that he has lacked of defense. He need a propre court system for his position as a former police chef. If we look at Derachharn Khiev samphann, Ieng Sary, Nuon Chea, have killed millions of citizen, why they are not in jail yet? Heng Pov was working in cleaning up criminals in Cambodia which has conflict of interest with Hok Lundy who were behind Mok Chito to collect criminal monies for him. Therefore Heng Pov was a problem for Hok Lundy to earn black monies.This reason has made Hok Lundy to play death and life with Heng Pov. We must give each citizen the same fair justice in front of the law.

Heng Pov has a point that those of his enemies planted evidences in his house while he was away.That is so cawardice.
Probable cause and seizure seemed out of place since warrant served in absence of the accused.
Nonetheless Heng Pov, as citizen , has the rights to due process and vigorous defense from a competent advocate.
Innocent remains until proved guilty by real competent court.
