As I have said before that Kim Sokha needs to build an alliance with Sam Rainsy party to form a New Government in 2008. To do this Kim Sokha needs to work with Sam Rainsy on strategies to place both parties candidate in a strategic way instead of competing to each other. We knew already that Funcipec and CPP have been coalition in government in the past three terms and have been alawys fails Cambodia from Economic and sovcial development. The poor are getting poorers and the rich are getting richer by just stealing all National resourses and people lands for selling to corrupted officials from both parties to wash their monies before depositing into Bank. THey have to produce policies which are going to generate large numbers of middle classes people and increase good education, good health services and zero tolerance for corruption to attract good investors for longterm social and economic development of the country. Their first step into Government is to sack all crooked police chefs like Hok Lundy, Kun Kim, Hing Bun Heang, Dun Keurn etc.. and etc... All police chef need to be from young educated and are working for the Nation and not for a group of individuals like now. There are a lot of work to be done for a nEw government can be set up because the whole government machine needed to be replaced for a real new one. Areak Prey
Cheyo Banana!!! Opp! May be it could be lemon, instead!
here is my prediction.
RNP and Funcpec will have any seat in 2008 elelction.
All the seats will be split to three, CPP, Sam Rainsy, and HRP.
There will be interesting to see how the coalition works if no party get 50+1 to rule with its own right.
To Areak Prey
That's true that HRP need to build an alliance with SRP. But it is just a necessary condition not a sufficient one yet.
What we have to do is finding what is behind the creation of HRP, to bring a real democracy for Cambodians as Khem said? Or to show that Khem is stronger than any self-claimed democratic lovers of his generation?
I don't want to predict about the seat HRP would gain but I'm sure it will not exceed 10. Look at the structure of the party...Who is president and who is his deputy...I don't think Khem will be able to get more intellituals...
If he really want to bring about democracy, the first step is to topple Hun Sen regime...
To do that he has unite all the people regardless of their party... So far I haven't seen any political leaders of Khem's generation possesing that kind of skill yet.
The hope there will be some in the next generation.

HRP doesnt have have a strong leadership structure becouse all of them are the same. They are jumping monkeys. Pls observe all of their leaders. They dont have any specific commitmet or aim but position and fame.
Kem Sokha himself is the corrupt leader and most importantly the most boasting khmer person.
kem sokha will never get his dream. The idiot kem sokha
I am not against Kem Sokha launing his own part or anything, but I think it may be better if they can work it out with SRP for the interest of the two parties. Or do we want to have more than two political parties in Cambodia? But I think Cambodian people is not capable of distinguish the political agendas between those parties; perhaps will confuse them even more thus will vote for the evil party of CPP whose serving the Youn.
On other note: Isn't wearing bright yellow is copying from the Thai? I think we need to find our own uniqueness. We are capable of thinking....
HRP and SRP need to think about the survivability and of course winning the 2008 election so that you both can fulfill your dream of bringing the democracy to Cambodia and to serve interest for all Khmer people and Khmer Nation for a change. When it is that important, once must put all personal differences aside... It is too great of the cause with too little of sacrifices. Millions of Cambodians are behind you and they count on you to bring differences in their lives. Lets give them hopes...
As we enter this critical era, yet another power-hungry loser forays into politics.
Friendly advice: The only winning move is not to play.
Look good HRP.Congratulation to all HRP leaderships and theirs supporters. If Khmers people don't fight for who ganna do for you.Go for
I am proud of you and Congratulation again HRP.Bravo
HRP is not the independant party
because we know very well two new
members of HRP is that :
- Mr Chan Ven (he is CPP member and
was Minister of Education during
Youn domination in Cambodia 1979-1989).
-Mr Pen Sovann is always Youn spy
(he is released by Youn Hanoi in
1992 after 10years in jail at his
house in Hanoi)
Chan Ven and Pen Sovann are Youn
servant and Youn spy. They also
belong to CPP (Communist Pro youn Party).
Mr Kem Sokha had tendance to
CPP(Communist Pro youn Party) too
So HRP is not really an independant
party or really brings Democracy to
Cambodia people
Yeah, IRI brings democracy to Cambodia
People. But not Kem Sokha.
How IRI bring democracy to Cambodia only with ntheory?
Need both theory and pratice (real work) to make thing happening, fool!
HRP party has appeared with unclear hope for its future. I can predict that HRP will not get any seat for this coming 2008 election.
As I have observed, Ung Hout party was very popular and had more money than HRP, but Ung Hout party in that time got nothing in its election.
Two popular things in Cambodia for political parties: royalist and old experienced parties. For example, Funcipec won election in 2003 even though it was new because it was royalist. The rests are old with experienced parties that can gain popularity and trust from the people..for example CPP and SRP.
So whoever that are supporting HRP will has less hope I think. But one important thing is that the emerge of HRP only confuses Cambodian people and the CPP will win the election.
It has only one solution for those who are actual loving democracy that they have to be able to ally and bond together especially SRP+NRP+HRP
Now the strongest democratic and opposition party in Cambodia is SRP and it is the hope for next government of Cambodia.
KY
Congradulations HRP
HRP is also the hope of Khmer people, not just SRP alone. HRP has a clear future and will win some seats.
One more time, CONGRADULATIONS.
No single party will defeat the CPP, SRP or NRP or HRP. If the three doesn't merge together into one sigle party, CPP will win even more seats.
The creation of HRP is just another picture showing how boastful the Cambodian politician are.
Why don't they work together if their goal is the same. Now, what they, the three: N.Ranarith, Rainsy, and Sokha, think is I am the strongest.
Don't dream of bringing democracy to Cambodia if you are not abel create a conditon of one figts one.
Please think about the future of Cambodia. Please put aside all of your personal interest. All of you are rich already...Please a good future for the beloved Cambodia people.

Another 100 years for CPP!
Well, Mr. Kem, since you don't know what the fuck you're doing, I guess it is alright, although you're a new player (perhaps will be the biggest loser) in the game. However, if you still insist in foraying into political arena, first and foremost, I'd like to take your daughter to the Spark Club, or perhaps somewhere along the Mekong River.
Welcome to the XO-and-Blue club!
Certainly, the French and Scotch made us work harder for our country (Cambodia).
Here’s your (yet another) friendly advice from your old friend: “The only winning move is not to play.”
Cheers!
The guy 8:35pm got a big mouth. You don't to bring his family in for your smear campaign. I like SRP but I am against you.
I don't even think that guy is an SRP. He is a Funcinpec. How do I know? His cheap language, he sounded like the Funcinpec dogs.
ok, you ki media people deleted some anti-srp comments posted here a few days ago. 'What's going on?
