Thach Ngoc Thach, President of the Khmer Kampuchea-Krom Federation (KKF) in the world, claimed on Thursday that Monk Tim Sakhorn, the former abbot of the Phnom Den pagoda located in Takeo province, is still alive, but he is currently jailed in Vietnam.

Thach Ngoc Thach rejected the claim made by Khieu Sopheak, spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, who said that Monk Tim Sakhorn volunteered to return to back to his native land in Kampuchea Krom (South Vietnam).

Thach Ngoc Thach said: “According to the declaration made by Khieu Sopheak saying that Monk Tim Sakhorn was sent back to Vietnam based on his request, and secondly there are a lot of rumors circulating in Kampuchea Krom about this issue which is a very important one that cannot be hidden, Monk Tim Sakhorn was indeed seen in Kampuchea Krom, but he was not seen in his native village, he was rather seen jailed in a Viet prison.”

RFA could not reach neither Cambodian nor Vietnamese embassy officials to obtain clarifications about the information on Monk Tim Sakhorn who was reported seen in a Vietnamese jail.

Regarding the accusations made against Monk Tim Sakhorn for his activities of destruction of Buddhism and his formation of a movement to break the solidarity between Cambodia and Vietnam, Thach Ngoc Thach said that these accusations were planned with the collusion of the Cambodian and Vietnamese authorities, as well as with the participation of Tep Vong, the supreme Buddhist patriarch of Cambodia.

Thach Ngoc Thach said: “The document ordering the defrocking of Monk Tim Sakhorn was posted by the Vietnamese authority in all pagodas in Kampuchea Krom, 10 days prior to the actual defrocking of Monk Tim Sakhorn. Even Monk Tim Sakhorn himself knew about this. Therefore, we can see that the communist Vietnamese had planned this with Tep Vong and a number of Cambodian officials, but the Cambodians (Tep Vong and Hun Sen’s regime officials) did not know that the Vietnamese had published this information beforehand, all over the place, this was what actually happened. Regarding Monk Tim Sakhorn’s where about, everybody in Kampuchea Krom knows about it, there is no need to hide this fact. The Vietnamese used this action to threaten Khmer Krom people in Motr Chrouk province (Chau Doc in Vietnamese), in Khleang province (Soc Trang in Viet), in Preah Trapeang province (Tra Vinh in Viet), warning them not to follow the example of Monk Tim Sakhorn. This is only to reveal to you about the action taken by the colluding Cambodian officials. Regarding the collusion of Tep Vong, whatever he did, he can never hide it.”

It is unacceptable for this police chef to act like kidnapping to kidnap this Monk Tim Sakhorn from his temple and send to vietnam to be jailed without charge and without receiving any complain from community in Phnom Din village. This police Chef should be resigned and be proccecuted.

First and foremost, I would like to proudly declare that I'm a true Buddhist; in fact, the tradition was customarily passed on to me (from my parents), therefore, I'm relatively and elatedly proud to practice Buddhism. Having said that, let me say this: I'm not afraid to curse at Tep Vong (this bastard does not deserve to be called “Patriarch” or “Supreme”). Further, I have two words for comrade Tep Vong: "Fuck you!" Your egregious and hideous complicity against "Khmer," particularly pregnable Khmer Khrom, is ignominiously and unacceptably disservice to our motherland. Moreover, remember, your days are numbered! You will be anathematized by our people.

Again, comrade Tep Vong, go fuck yourself. I have no respect for a monk like you.

You (Tep Vong), your demise is imminent, and when that occurs—I would like to spit on your grave on behalf of all Cambodian people!

May Buddha bless all Khmer people and its motherland!

Truly,
Fuck you, Tep Vong
