Op-Ed By Kok Sap

In light of the alleged political activist Monk Tim Sakhorn case the government of Phnom Penh is not assertively in pursuing its duty. The event is charged with common folks outbursts and appeals to government. No hurry or motivation to respond to concerns from government since the event took place on June 30, 2007. So evidently there was no need to act since the dust might be in the blind eye as it seemed according to Mr. Khiev Kannharith statement, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also following the case, but secondly, former Monk Tim Sakhorn holds a Vietnamese ID, he used the Vietnamese ID, he didn't use the Cambodian ID, but for the Cambodian government, we never consider Khmer Krom people as another nationality. But, we are reviewing to see what the charge is, because it's like when the Vietnamese come to Cambodia, if they commit something against the law, the Cambodian law is applicable. Over there (in Vietnam) also, it's the same thing, but we are looking to see what he is charged with, then we can see what else to do. However, to ask the prime minister to intervene with their court, it is not right."
At the same time, bang huu Trinh Ba Cam, the spokesman of the Vietnamese embassy in Cambodia, declared," former Abbot Tim Sakhorn was jailed in Vietnam and that he will be sentenced for political crime because he helped the Khmer Kampuchea- Krom Federation (KKF) based in the USA." Then he went on to say," There is no reason to send the former abbot back to Cambodia because he is a Vietnamese citizen who committed anti-Vietnamese crime in both Cambodia and Vietnam." Politically Viet Nam has already made successful tactical moves in arresting the accused then intimidating Cambodia Buddhist sect Supreme Patriarch Tep Vong via Phnom Penh government to condemn the case.
Folks can read between the lines, Phnom Penh regime will not touch this case even with a ten meter pole. By all means Hanoi has already warned Phnom Penh with the reassertion who's calling the shot to date. This serves as a psychological warfare and threat to Phnom Penh own fear. Obviously Hanoi real aim is to incriminate organization like KKKF and the likes from entering the UN annual assembly next month in New York. So then it can prosecute all Khmer Kampuchea Krom, specifically in USA, who may visit relatives in Kampuchea Krom.
Clearly the Cambodia 1993 Supreme Law of the land that was fully recognized by the UN Permanent Security Council states in Chapter I, article 8 and Chapter III, article 33 that the King and government owes duty to Khmers internally and externally. But apparently Phnom Penh is already surrendered to Hanoi before a shot was fired. Based on this, will Cambodia needs this type people in its government any longer?
Nevertheless in order to fight the sleazy Hanoi openly, the Khmer Kampuchea Krom in abroad including Cambodia must have own government in exile. This will solidify and legitimize its position in the eyes of international laws. To officially recognize Kampuchea Krom natural rights with their government of choice may be a good thing for Khmers in facing common threat. Come to think of it, Sihanouk's government did for South Viet Nam shadow government and the same as the other, the Viet Cong's then. So what is so bad to do for Khmer Krom at this time?

The fuckup regime of CPP of ah Hun Xen and Hanoi are testing us now for the time of merging or put us all as their slave or kille us one by one!
Be ready we may need to kill for freedome!
Kille or be killed, time is come close!
This is a psychological warfare waged by the Vietcong! I don't give a fuck what the Vietcong have to say anymore! The time now is to observe the Vietcong every move and what entities are they trying to mobilize against helpless Cambodian people!
Cambodia had been going through four major wars already and one more Vietcong war is not going to change the damn thing anyway and let the Vietcong come and faces their own nightmare!
