Contrary to his opulent life he used to have in Phnom Penh, Prince Ranariddh is currently living with Mrs Uk Phalla and his cherished son in a small condo apartment in Kuala Lumpur.

A reliable source told us, on 01 August, that the prince bought a small condo in Kuala Lumpur. The condo is located on the fifth floor of a building, and it has 3 bedrooms and a living room. The same source indicated that because of the condo is too small for him, the prince plans to move out from there. The condo he is currently living with Mrs Uk Phalla and their son, costs a few tens of thousands of dollars only.

Muth Chantha, NRP spokesman, declined to comment on the private life of the prince by saying that he is only a spokesman who is involved in political affairs only.

Looking at his condo in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the prince lost his opulent lifestyle he used to have in Phnom Penh.

In Cambodia, the prince liked to maintain an opulent and happy lifestyle. The prince was often seen eating at the Topaz restaurant which serves expensive French foods, as well as in Chinese restaurants such as the Ting Ting restaurant. Furthermore, he prince used to live large villas in Veal Sbov and Tuol Kok in Cambodia, but now that his political life is on the downturn, his private life seems to be dragged down with it as well.

No doubt no surprise when hearing that Runrot is living in a simple apartment of KL and I add that there he is difficult to find Srey Sra Dollars just only Phalla he can eat...
Different from when he was a highest Rank Gov official in Cambodia where he could find easily ladies including his own subordinates'wives and daughters...
In france he had to run fastly to take train.. taxi going shopping pulling carts for buying foods in stores etc...
THAT is why he like Cambodia very much ... because he is great Poli-businessman whom lowly educated people may trust-in him and choose him as their mleader again.......

I strongly agree with comment 2:32.
The fate of bloothirsty Khmer leaders is the same when they lost their power:
- Oncle Xi-ah-nouss, reduced to poverty has become a beggar (he lives by begging for food and money from China.
- Lon Nol died broken.
- Pol Pot died miserably.
And YUON XEN turn will be soon!
- Pol Pot

WAIT TO SEE WHEN NOT (IF) HUN SEN LOSES POWER. EXLUDING IF HIS LIFE ENDS ABRUPTLY.

HE'S EVEN NOT GOING TO HAVE ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT BUT HE IS GOING TO LOSE EVERYTHING. THE ENTIRE FAMILY FORTUNE WILL BE GONE.

ONLY TWO OPTIONS:
1. DEAD(OLD AGE OR HEART ATTACK,
ECT...)
2. PACK AND RUN TO OUTSIDE COUNTRY
3. GIVE UP AND TO LIVE IN ONE BED
ROOM PREK SAR HOUSE OF
CORRECTION

Through my observation from era of Angkor to the modern day Cambodia law enforcement, the mentality of our Khmer people are somewhat unsustaining in nature. We tend to lose focus on what we are doing. In other words, we could build but we don't take care of what we build. We only do things in a spur moment and after awhile we forget about our original intent; sort of like the Cambodian proverb saying: "we are the burining hey people"
