Cambodian PM defines roles of deputy prime ministers
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has officially defines the roles of the government's eight deputy prime ministers and several senior ministers, the Cambodia Daily reported Saturday.
Among the eight prime ministers, five are from the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and three are from Funcinpec.
Interior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng has been put in charge of decentralization, national security and other police work, and will coordinate the ministries of land management, planning, environment and justice, it said, adding that he will also serve as acting prime minister in the absence of Hun Sen.
Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Sok An has been given by far the most duties according to the decision, being charged to assist the prime minister with administrative reform, the tribunal for former Democratic Kampuchea (DK) leaders, de-mining, landmine victims, information technology and answering queries from the National Assembly, it said.
Sok An is also to assist with the management of the ministries of industry, posts and telecommunications, information, education and labor, as well as the civil aviation, public secretariats, and the national petroleum and land dispute authorities, it added.

The government with secret order from Hanoi. Hen Sen listens Hanoi govn't whatever he is told. He is a good leader for illiterate people.
Who care? Whatever he did work much better than most Phds and Nobel Prize winners from the west.
He's no any better than Than Swe. He bring a lot of sufferings and poverty to Cambodian people. He will be hanged after he's powerless.
You are talking about LonNol/Sarimatak and Pol Pot who made Cambodia poor. Dr Hun Sen, on the other hand, is trying to undo the damages, and so far so good.

Don't you remember in the 80s, what this ah kwak has done to cambodian's people... Without cambodians outside, fighters and sihanouk.. we won't have what you supposed that Hun Sen try to build today. So many members of parliament from FUNCINPEC are begging money from foreigners for this ah Kwak and all democratic people thought that Funcinpec are losers. Because so many members of funcinpec don't want a war, that's why they keep quiet. When the CPP go outside, foreigner countries don't give a lots of money. I mean not from VN.

Under Hun Sen, Khmer in Cambodia are starting speak Khmer language mix with Yuon language already as I can see. Sooner or later Khmer in Cambodia will be just like Khmer-Kroms. Hun Sen makes today Khmer in Cambodia depending on everything from ah Yuons: namely foods, technology, education, health, electric power, etc.

Sihanouk thought French colonization of Kampuchea was bad, wait until Vietnamese' coloninzation of Indochina--namely Champa(DONE), Kampuchea-Krom(DONE), Lao(Almost), and now Cambodia (still resisting). Thanks Hun Sen for assisting ah Yuons on their ongoing plan of Vietnamization. Thanks alot!!!Until Cambodian Overseas need to apply Vietnamese VISA(like Khmer-Krom today) in order to visit Phnom Penh, then Hun Sen and his CPP have done their jobs serving Master Viets. Sihanouk is smart enough to know that he have to live next to Vietnam no matter what. Perhaps, he might have a different feeling if he could move cambodia away from that area.
