According to the recent editions of an English-language newspaper in Phnom Penh, the ECCC UN wanted to summon me as “witness,” if not to “indict” me. And even more recently, the ECCC UN wanted that N. Sihanouk takes an oath in front of the ECCC UN!!!
We are, today, Wednesday 05 September 2007, a Buddhist holy day where I must observe the Obosothsel.
In the morning and in the afternoon of this Obosothsel Day (the 8 precepts of Buddha), I pray in loud voice, in front of 5 revered superior monks (Mékon (provincial head monk), deputy-Mékons, Chau Athicars (Abbots), either the Head monk of the Ratanakiri province, deputy-Head monks in this same province and pagoda Chiefs in the same province), I take the oath not to kill, lie, or cheat (among others).
The ECCC UN wants me to take an oath to tell the entire truth, and only the truth (in regards of the super-criminals [Khmer Rouge]).
My oath, I already took it today, in front of 5 superior Buddhist monks, and most of all, in front of the statues and small statues of Buddha. After Buddha, I thus don’t have to lower myself to take an oath in front of the ECCC UN.
Regarding the Khmer Rouge atrocities, when the Pol Pot, Ieng Sary, Khieu Samphan controlled the State (Democratic Kampuchea) Power, I knew that these Khmer Rouges were involved in the disappearance of 5 of my children, 14 of my grandchildren, Prince N. Phurissara and his family, Prince S. Methavi and his family.
I did not see the Khmer Rouge committing their atrocities, (inflicting) bad treatments, or even (issuing) threats against one or several people, or a group of people.
I already said it all, i.e. all that I know.
I don’t have another thing to tell the ECCC UN. Stop pestering me with this “KR-Sihanouk Affair”!
I don’t owe anything to the ECCC UN.

Your words are none senses,if you want your self clean,why you do not want to go to court? While you had claimed that you were going to? the more that you try to manipulate the more that you make people around the world and your citizens eager to to see your enigmatic . Do you know who is Sihanouk father? Sihanouk was born out of Wedlock. His mother slept with the Chinese chef and Sihanouk was born by this Chinese chef. The trial is about mass slaughter of innocent Khmers by another group of Khmers. No need to dilute the severity of the crimes by dragging others to the picture. They did not emptied the cities and forced Khmers to work like animals. Nor do they put guns to KR heads to kill Khmers. Their bloody hands are well known throughout the world.

The KRT is about the mass slaughter of innocent Khmers by another Khmers, but who created those Khmer Rouge? It was Communist groups (China, Soviet, Vietnam). The Indochinese Communist Party was created by Viet Minh/Cong, and Khmer Rouge were recruited by them.
Hun Sen and his comrades left Cambodia to Vietnam in 1978, and Pol Pot became the leader in 1978 so who controled Khmer Rouge from 1975-1978?

The court cannot find Justice for those victims because Khmer (like Hok Lundy former Mr. Nguyen Van Son) killed Khmer (Hun Sen).

222PM, war between capitalism and communism is a war of ideologies. Ideas itself does not cause genocide.
The communists will of course support their allies and would create one to serve their interests. The KR is one of their advantage during the Vietnamese war. Why?.... the HoChimin trail, the Vietcong's supplies from China through Sihanoukville port are a few examples of Vietnam's benefits.
The KR are not robots who need to be programmed what to do. Their ideologies and beliefs are in writting for everyone to see. It is no secret of their intentions to turn Cambodia into a new society.

I Totally disagree with you for saying that this war between these superpower nations was not part of the source of civil war and genocide in Cambodia. Cambodia has to face many wars: war against the former invader (Vietnam) and the war of the superpower nations.
Cambodia has no friends with her neighbors: Thailand and Vietnam.

Your analysis lacks of the source of the cause. We can ask you the same thing. Why did you or the Vietnamese create the Indochinese Communist Party? Why did you of Vietnnamese Communist recruit the Khmer Rouge since in 1930?

The Vietnamese created the Khmer Rouge, the Vietnamese said the evil is Pol Pot, and anyone that replacing Pol Pot is better, so the Vietnamese created another one is Hun Sen.
Now Hun Sen is being shown as the Khnmer Rouge's enemy, but sadly Hun Sen is still another Khmer Rouge, not China faction, but the same Khmer Rouge that created by the same creator, Vietnamese.
This Khmer Rouge Trial should invite the creator, Vietnamese to testify, then China.
And the Soviet, US and Thailand should also pay the damage.
I really don't know why king Sihanouk never write his statement in Khmer. I think there should be both in Khmer and in French or English.
