Mam Sonando, the director of the Beehive (FM105) radio station, sent a letter to the Vietnamese government leader through the Vietnamese embassy in Phnom Penh, seeking an authorization to visit former Monk Tim Sakhorn who is currently jailed in Vietnam.
Mam Sonando said that in his letter addressed to Nguyen Tan Dung, the Vietnamese prime minister, he indicated that the arrest without mercy of Monk Tim Sakhorn by the Vietnamese authority is a severe violation on the psyche of Buddhist Cambodian people.
Mam Sonando indicated: “The problem of Kampuchea Krom is one thing, the problem of Monk Tim Sakhorn is another issue, but the problem of Buddhism, I can no longer tolerate it any more if our government and our neighboring countries can do whatever they want, they inflict hardships on civilian (Cambodian) people, and even, for religious Buddhist monks, they inflict hardships on them in every manner. In my name as a Cambodian, and in my name as a Buddhist, I cannot tolerate it, and I can no longer tolerate this tramping on Buddhism which is supported and which serves as refuge for the Cambodian people. I do not allow anyone to trample on Cambodian Buddhism.”
So far, there is no reply yet from the Vietnamese prime minister on Mam Sonando’s request.

The fucken Vietcong need to show Mr. Mam Sonando the door so that he can walk through to see Monk Tim Sakhorn!
What are these Vietcong afraid of?
I am glad that Mr. Mam Sonando are bravely to raise this issue with YOUN Prime Minister.
I wish that the Freaking King Shihanouk can say something like that to show that he deserves to be called as the father of Cambodia.
RFA reporters should request that too because RFA reporters are the employees of the US Radio. Let see how the YOUN will say...
I support Mr. Mam Sonando initiative. There are so many illegal YUONs in our country. Cambodian leaders do whatever to serve YUON interests even YUON takes our land. Stand up our Khmer Krom community. One day we will be out of the YUON control.
Khmer people will label Mr. Mam Sonando as all Khmer's hero. You are very brave and you deserve to be Khmer leader. We (Khmer) are behind you Mr. Mam Sonando, way to go. You stand up for your own people unlike others stupid leaders who serve Ah yuon pests at present time. As to where about and what charges that monk Tim Sakhorn had committed against the Vietnamese, they flip-flopped their explainations every time they responded. Where is the truth from the Vietnamese authority, huh? none what so ever. Vietnamese are liars. Khmer must remove the Vietnamese embassy and kill the police chief Hok Lundy, he is Vietcong.
