Police Colonel Itipon, the Superintendent of Pattaya’s Immigration Office arranged a rounding-up operation which took place in the early hours of Wednesday Morning. The intent was to round-up illegal foreign workers at a number of Construction Sites in Pattaya and Sattahip District. A total of 5 locations were targeted in the operation which led to the arrest of 119 Cambodian Workers who did not possess passports or work permits. They will now be deported back to Cambodia at the earliest opportunity.

It has been so many years that cambodians have been to Thailand for job opportunity as they could not struggle to survive in their own country.And they have been treated like slaves.
Cambodian intervention would warrent their safety.Possibly the department of employment and Education can train them for better skills in building so that they can be employed and absorbed to the needs in cambodia as well as for their safety.
I hope NGO can assist them as well,but the government has to play its role in helping own people.
