H.M. King Father NORODOM SIHANOUK of Cambodia expressly asks the respected Personalities and esteemed Persons, Khmers and Foreigners (including the Members of the Royal Family), to no more offer, present to Him gifts, fruits, cakes, culinary dishes or other things; to not call on Him; to not dispatch to Him messages of greetings and congratulations, even on the occasion of His Birthday, on the occasion of Chritmas, universal or international New Year or Khmer New Year.
H.M. King Father NORODOM SIHANOUK of Cambodia has written Himself several successive Communiqués and circulated them very widely. But they keep on ignoring those Communiqué.

On the other hand, we have associated with Vietnamese in Cambodia for over 400 years, and still hardly any khmer speak Vietnamese, wearing Vietnamese clothing, ..., or celebrating Vietnamese holiday.
